Frank Sidebottom

I thought I had uploaded this here already but it seems I haven't . An oversight on my part as Frank Sidebottom is a oddity that needs more airing. Here we have-

Side one of Frank's 10" LP "Medium Play" on the In Tape label. 1990.

Some great versions of old rockers done in that strange northern nasal whine of his. It makes me laugh every time! The perfect anti-dote to Shirley Bassey and Nancy Sinatra!

Find out more about Frank HERE.

I tried uploading from youtube, a track called 'The Flies Crawled Up The Window' but for odd reason it won't let me!

Do you mean Boot Sale Sounds and the Bobbie Comber track I uploaded? Seems OK to me- I just downloaded it no problem.
Thanks for the LastFM link. I could not find the version you mentioned but had a nice listen to some Billy Cotton and Albert Whelan.

No, no, it was a song by Roy somebody or other, a really funny song.

We (The Wrong Brothers) did a couple of gigs with Frank. Off stage a very nice guy. Despite his odd shaped head.

And very funny on stage too.

Thats streaming audio files at Last FM. They dont download very easily without software that does that sort of thing - audio grabbers. On the Mac we use one called WireTap which is very useful. They dont do a PC version unfortunatley.
